The WORLD SWING DANCE COUNCIL, organized in 1993, is a service organization designed to further communication and to provide informational services and record keeping for those in the Swing Dance Community.

Swing City Chicago uses the WSDC Competitor's Points Registry to determine the level of dance for each participant in the Jack and Jill competitions.  Swing City Chicago will also submit winners points to the Council for national record keeping after the event.

Swing City Chicago collects $1 from each Jack & Jill participant to support the WSDC.
